History
Corrtech International Pvt. Ltd. (CIPL) (now Corrtech International Ltd. (CIL)) was incorporated in 1982 by Late Shri Indrasen Mittal (ISM). CIL was engaged in the business of Cathodic Protection Systems for corrosion protection of underground steel structures.
CIL diversified into new products and markets in the early 2000s. It entered into the Oil & Gas Pipeline construction business and has grown to become one of the largest Pipeline Construction companies in India.
Corrtech’s journey in the Gas Turbines field started with ISM enrolling as agent for John Brown Engineering Ltd. (JBE), Scotland. JBE was a manufacturing associate of General Electric, USA and was licensed to manufacture Heavy Duty Industrial Gas Turbines of GE design. Corrtech Energy aligned with JBE’s JV in UAE, Masaood John Brown (MJB) as their agent for providing Gas Turbine Parts and Services to the Indian Market. Corrtech Energy Limited soon came into existence exclusively to spearhead the Gas Turbine Components manufacturing, repairs and services business worldwide.
In 2005, Control Plus was established to provide comprehensive pipeline products like gas conditioning skids, pig handling systems, gas odorization units, etc. required in a Gas network.
